Edward Mejia

Edward Mejia is originally from the Colonial city Granada, Nicaragua. He graduated from Law School back in his home country at Universidad Centroamericana (UCA) and practiced law mainly in Dispute Settlement issues related to International Trade Regulations. Edward graduated in Thomas Moore University where he completed the Master Degree Program on International Trade

Edward came to Georgia over 10 years. After several years of being in United States, he gained a Scholarship at Michigan State University where he studied and graduated for in the LLM program designed for Foreign-Educated Lawyers. While at Michigan State University, he was a board member of the LLM student Association as Secretary. He also participated in the Immigration clinic for one semester where he represented in Immigration court cases of Special Immigrant Juveniles under the supervision of the Attorney in charge of the Immigration clinic.

Edward also was an extern and student Law clerk at the Veterans Court house with honorable Judge Rosemarie Aquilina. After successfully graduating from the LLM program, he came back to Georgia where he has been active member of different organizations where he volunteers.

Edward is actually working as Legal Assistant at John Morrison Law firm where he work with cases related to Personal Injury, Work compensation, Criminal and Immigration Law.
